NAG Feedback How Are We Doing. / Re: How are we doing.
« Last post by Keith Palmer on April 14, 2024, 09:08:13 PM »
I was involved with the "police" initiative with John Wood which came to an abrupt end (with no reply as promised from Sir Mark Rowley of the Met) at some point last year, or was it the year before ? I was given the impression that with the sudden departure of Tony NAG was to all all intents and purposes at an end. Is it in fact limping on ? I see Duncan Heenan posted on here in March 2024 but I cannot see much in the months before that. I have lost contact with John Wood too as unfortunately he seemed to have missed my last email to him. it would be good to have an organisation dedicated to the normalising of naturism, something that British Naturism appears to have little interest in. I do believe that NAG should have a conventional membership structure to try to build more of a "team spirit" rather than just a number of random individuals whose agendas may differ.

Nag is alive but not very well since we lost Mr Wood we have been struggling, but that will change soon because we have had some new people come aboard that seem to be active campainers!
As for people not being able to log in to either the forum or body book microsoft recently sent out an update this update reset some of my passwords and I had trouble also. However I do have backups and they worked.
our webmaster will not like me saying thisif people are having trouble logging on having already registered then they can email our webmaster who will help them,

I will be writing a help file soon that should help with login issues.

I'm a member of Mancoll, I can't get into the management e-mail system despite using the username and password I have always used, I was sent a new password (I think - it was called a login) by the webmaster which didn't work, I have again tried to contact Harvey and the webmaster but with no response. I too cry for HELP!

On the general matter of "Is NAG alive and well ?", I'd say I have my doubts.
It is 2 years since I withdrew from NAG's management, and all I have seen from NAG since then has been squabbling among the remaining management  but virtually no actual activity, and certainly no campaigning (which is what NAG was established for). The website is virtually dead, with the main contributor in recent times being Alan Henderson telling us all about his autism and homosexuality  (he's even set up a special section on it!) - is this what NAG is about now? Bodybook was always something I did not think was a good idea, and that appears to be going nowhere ( however I did have worries as to where it might have been going!)
So tell us, NAG Management...Is NAG alive and well? If so, how can anyone tell?

El Portus in Murcia Spain have announced that they will be closing for 'refurbishment' in October 2024, with no re-opening date announced. They have been high handed about this, only making the announcement after a number of people had paid for fares, flight etc following earlier assurances that they would be open in October, They will have to try hard to re-establish the trust of previously loyal customers, and the naturist community generally. It is a lovely place, but inly if run properly and with a true naturist ethos. Only time will tell with the new owners.

NAG Feedback How Are We Doing. / Re: What do you think of our management.
« Last post by Duncan Heenan on March 09, 2024, 11:06:39 AM »
Dear Phil, I've noted your comments from last year. I can report that NAG no longer lacks leadership nor structure. I have made sure of that. I'd be delighted to hear from you and will embrace your thoughts and any opinions.

Just to follow this up, 'Rockondoghampshire4' (AKA Tony Hole) became NAG's Chairman for a few traumatic months, upset everyone, achieved nothing good, and then flounced out. Since then the management positions have been refilled, but NAG still appears to be doing nothing. This is sad, but not unexpected.

In the 17 months since I started this thread there has been just one response, agreeing with it, and nothing since. It would appear therefore that NAG isn't actually doing anything. Am I wrong?
