Following on from the success last year’s picnics during lockdown, further picnics and naturist walks are planned for Colwick Woods in Nottingham during summer 2022. All naturists are welcome to join us.
The dates for your diary are:
• Saturday 11th of June 2022
• Saturday 9th of July 2022
• Saturday 13th of August 2022
The naturist walk will start at 11:15am and the picnic starts at 1:00pm in the afternoon.
Anyone will be welcome to attend the walk, the picnic or both. You will simply need to arrive at the appropriate time and stay until you have had enough. The meeting place is the Colwick Woods telecommunication tower.

https://goo.gl/maps/tMdjTyPgUiAcHGN67There is free roadside parking and a frequent bus service (every 7 to 8 minutes) from Nottingham City Centre to Bakersfield using the service 43. You will need to get off at the first bus stop on Greenwood Road. The bus stop code is BF08 and is confusingly labelled as Harrogate Road.
Both the walk and the picnic will be naturist events but naturists are welcome to bring a non-naturist partner who might wish to stay clothed.
The WalkThe walk will start at 11:15am and will do a rectangular route through the woods which will last for approximately 1hr 30mins. This will be enough time to cover the majority of the woods, walking through areas of trees and open spaces. Please note that we may be seen by members of the public who might be sunbathing on the grass.
We can expect to arrive back at the telecommunication tower for about 12:45 – in time to welcome anyone attending the picnic.
The Picnic.At 1 o’clock, we can find a convenient picnic space on the grass. There are no fees to pay to use Colwick Woods or to attend the picnic but you will be welcome to make a small voluntary cash donation to NAG. All you need to bring with you is your picnic hamper, a towel, and a bag to take away your rubbish.
Please note that there are no public toilets in Colwick Woods so, if you can't ‘go’ behind a bush, please make sure you go before you come! You will also need to spray with insect repellent if you are vulnerable to insect bites.
