In September 2020 Duncan Heenan posted the idea of
Micro CampaigningHaving "done" christmas, a lot of people will now be searching for and booking their holidays. Meanwhile holiday and leisure stake holders will be looking forward to better times to come. The signs are good that in the coming year the dreaded virus will be relegated from pandemic to endemic status and travel and socialising restrictions will be relaxed.
So let this be the year that Naturists challenge those providers to think about going after the Naturist dollar.
Even if you already know where the Naturist businesses are, pretend to a moment you don't and ask lots of hotels, campsites, resorts, etc. if the cater for Naturists. They think (maybe in some cases wish) there's no demand, let's all bombard them with questions and try to change their minds.
I started this year with Carlyon Bay, Cornwall who despite appearing in this list of top 5 Naturist venues
https://theexpertcamper.co.uk/blog/camping/cornwalls-top-naturist-sites/ when I asked for details they emailed me the following response ...
Dear Mr Dyer,
Thank you for your enquiry. I’m not sure where you have got your information from but we are a long way west of Looe, at least 25 miles. We are not a naturist site and there is no naturist beach near here.
The nearest unofficial naturist beach is Vault Beach near Gorran Haven, and that is at least another fifteen miles west of here and I’m sorry I don’t know of any naturist campsites.
Kind Regards,
Frances
