Duncan Heenan steps back.
« on: January 20, 2022, 06:15:36 AM »
After more than 11 years voluntary work at national level in NAG’s management Duncan Heenan
has stepped back from most of his senior responsibilities. Duncan is a founding member of NAG.
From January 2022 Duncan is no longer a member of the NAG management collective (Mancoll)
and other NAG people have taken over key responsibilities which Duncan carried. The handover
process continues in an orderly way and Duncan will assist with some functions until 31 March
2022.

Duncan will continue to co-ordinate the NAG Press & Media Group, volunteers around the country
who respond to inaccurate or adverse stories about naturists in their local newspapers, radio, TV
stations. Duncan will also continue to assist in other NAG campaigning initiatives, including
seeking support and funding for a proper academic research project into Children & Nudity.

NAG operates under the separate legal entity Naturists Ltd and Duncan has relinquished his role
as a founding Director. The directors of Naturists Ltd have re-assigned the responsibilities
previously handled by Duncan within Naturists Ltd.

The work done by Duncan, in furthering understanding of naturism and acceptance of legitimate
naturist activity through NAG, has had a tremendous impact. It has inspired hundreds of people to
support NAG campaigning initiatives. With his contacts in the international naturist movement
Duncan has also helped NAG and its work to be known in many other countries, from Australia to
the USA.

The members of NAG Mancoll, and the Directors of Naturists Ltd, would like to place on record
their sincere appreciation to Duncan for his energy and commitment.
